Dual-Pump Continuous Flow Systems​

Teledyne Isco Series D continuous-flow systems couple two pump modules to a single controller, and use an active or passive valve manifold to provide non-stop, continuous feed of almost any fluid. The controller refills one pump while the other is delivering, using special algorithms to equalize pressure and flow of both pumps. This allows virtually pulseless transition at pump switchover while maintaining accurate flow rate. 

Three different valve packages are available to accommodate all types of fluids and specific requirements of your experiment or process.

1000D Syringe Pump

1-liter capacity for big jobs

The 1000D is the largest of the Isco D-series pump modules, with 1-liter nominal cylinder capacity. It delivers precise, positive, pulseless flow over a range of 0.01 mL/minute to 408 mL/minute, at pressures from atmospheric to 138 bar (2,000 psi).

Imroved displacement resolution on this new model gives finer control over motor movement. Coupled to our patented servo circuit, this means the 1000D can deliver excellent flow accuracy without the need for external flow meters. You get low-flow precision at any pressure, plus the high speed smoothness and power of a DC motor. 

The 1000D features 1/4" NPT fittings on inlet and outlet ports for less restriction in filling with viscous materials and for easy connection in pilot plant and other common applications. It also has a special piston wash gland that lets you rinse the cylinder wall behind the primary seal, reducing or eliminating corrosive or abrasive effects of the fluid being dispensed. The result is a longer lasting pump with lower maintenance costs.

500D Syringe Pump

Ideal for a wide range of chemical feed and core flooding applications

The 500D is ideal for a wide range of chemical feed applications requiring flow rates up to 204 mL/min at pressures up to 259 bar (3,750 psi). With its 500 mL cylinder capacity, this pump can deliver a precise 1 mL/minute for over 8 hours on a single fill. For non-stop continuous flow, see dual pump systems with a choice of valve packages. 

As with all D-Series pumps, you'll get accurate, predictable flow and pressure control throughout a remarkable operating range. Patented digital position monitoring servo circuitry provides low-flow precision at any pressure, plus the high speed smoothness and power of a DC motor.

260D Syringe Pump

Our most popular model for Supercritical Fluids

The 260D was the first Isco D-Series pump module, and our first syringe pump designed specifically for refilling under high pressure and pressure programming to handle supercritical fluids. With pressure control to 517 bar (7,500 psi) and a flow rate range from sub-microliter to 107 mL/min, the 260D offers exceptional versatility for almost any type of R&D or method development with supercritical CO2 and other fluids. Dual-pump systems can provide the capability to meter solvent modifiers into the flow stream, or to deliver non-stop continuous flow.


The 260D is also used for a variety of other applications matching its flow and pressure specifications. For applications requiring pressures up to 10,000 psi and/or greater low-flow precision, see the 100D models.

100DX Syringe Pump

High Pressure Applications - up to 690 bar (10,000 psi)

The 100DX was developed initially to meet the demand for a 690 bar (10,000 psi) pump with fast flow and refill for Supercritical Fluid Extraction. It has also found many other applications for jobs requiring the combination of high pressure and flow rate up to 50 mL/minute. For the ultimate low-flow precision, we recommend the 65DM model, which has the same pressure rating but is geared for maximum flow of 30 mL/minute and double the displacement resolution of the 100DX. 

Dual-pump 100DX systems are available with a choice of valve packages for non-stop continuous flow.

Our best pulseless flow pump

The 100DM for the ultimate in low-flow precision solvent delivery pumps. With pressures up to 690 bar (10,000 psi) the 100DM has twice the displacement resolution as the 100DX. For applications such as HPLC or LC/MS requiring the best in pulseless flow the 100DM is the perfect choice. 

Dual-pump 100DM systems are available with a choice of valve packages for non-stop continuous flow.

The 30D High Pressure Syringe Pump takes traditional syringe pumps to the next level of deep well core analysis. Not only does it handle exceptional low-flow stability with ease, but it gives you the ability to reach pressures of 2,068 bar (30,000 psi). Air Valve Continuous Flow Systems

Pneumatic valves are constant-volume type for critical mass balance applications

Teledyne Isco dual pump air valve systems work reliably with almost any fluid, including viscous and/or corrosive solutions. The pneumatic, constant-volume valves experience no fluid loss or transfer when they open and close. They are automatically switched by the Series D controller, but require an 80 to 100 psi air source. 

Valves are made of Hastelloy C-276 with Chem-Raz seals, can be heated to 160 °C, and can be pressurized at any port.

Electric Valve Continuous Flow Systems

Reliable Hastelloy valves require no external compressed air or power supply

The electric valve package is driven entirely by the Series D pump controller and requires no other connections. The reliable stem-and-ball type valve has logged thousands of hours under harsh conditions. 

Made of Hastelloy C-276 and Inconel 718, these valves can be heated to 200 °C and can handle a wide range of corrosive fluids, liquefied gasses, volatile fluids, and viscous solutions.

High pressure core flooding and PVT analysis

The 260HP syringe pump provides precise, predictable flow and pressure control at flow rates from sub-microliter to 107 mL/min. Exceptional low-flow stability at up to 655 bar (9,500 psi) makes this the ideal pump for high pressure applications from deep well core analysis to multi-dimensional capillary LC using small-bore packed capillary columns.

The 500SP is ideal for a wide range of chemical feed applications requiring flow rates up to 204 mL/min at pressures up to 259 bar (3,750 psi). With its 179 mL cylinder capacity, this pump can deliver a precise 1 mL/minute for nearly 3 hours on a single fill. For non-stop continuous flow, see dual pump systems with a choice of valve packages. 

With a pump height of only 61 cm (23.9 inches), the 500SP can be used in applications where equipment size is limited. As with all D-series pumps, you'll get accurate, predictable flow and pressure control throughout a remarkable operating range.
